[Once the giant Noise bird starts divebombing with Chariot on its back, Goro winds up having to grab one of the many belts on Kurama's coat to keep him away from the fight. This leads to a hushed argument between the pair, despite Goro looking like it's taking everything he has to not try to interfere himself. He evidently managed to make a good point, however, as Kurama relents. Though while the Pact mates are now holding back and leaning against each other, Goro is twirling a blank pin idly between his fingers...]

[Kurama clenches his own blank pin in one hand before moving to slide his arms around Goro. It's easier, holding on to him, to stay where he is and watch. His head lowers slightly to rest against Goro's.]

It's infuriating... We awake here after death, are told to fight and grow, and we do. But we cannot fight when it matters most.

I know...I want nothing more than to gouge her eyes out and gut that bird. But I doubt anything we do will be much more than a distraction, and if she's that powerful there...
