Okay, so we might have to be dead to run these games ourselves, fine.

I'm asking why anyone has gotta run games at all when living people in the Strangerground can sometimes use psychs and see noise.

We've never seen Noise outside of an execution. Remember, there are certain areas where people in the Realground can see us...it might be similar.

A better question would be, why do they need people native to our worlds to run the Games? What's preventing them from sending people who died here to fill that purpose, and possibly come back once they've trained a successor from those who died on their own?

Well, I'm with you that maybe a person from one world could run a game in another world, but I actually think it's pretty clear why you can't train a successor from people who died on their own.

Not everyone who dies in this whole world ends up in the Underground, right? It's not crowded enough. So I'd buy it that keeping your souls in the Underground, where you'd have to be if you wanna act as this "successor", takes a little something extra. Like a game.

Being able to run Games is the point. If it were so simple to fight Noise on the Strangerground, I doubt they would have gone to all of this effort to train new Composers. And if new Composers can emerge from Games, then it shouldn't be that difficult to send one person to a different world and let things happen as they would here.

I'm asking why it's not so simple to fight noise in the Strangerground! Yeah, it probably isn't, but nobody has given us an actual answer!

At a guess, I'd say it's because people on that plane can't usually see them. How our executions were exceptions, however, and why they can't apply that same effect to larger areas...those are questions for our 'hosts.'

okay so first of all props for an actual helpful answer with no cat language or any shit like that but like how much less effort are we talking here look i'm not even trying to be that one weakass killjoy you always have in a group the one that isn't down with murder, okay? i'm just saying why can't you get a whole shitload of really strong people and train them with psychs for a long time in the strangerground and then send us all out alive and not pissed off about being killed if it takes a million people without players going up to the underground or if you have to train years and years then fine i get it but if it's only twice as long or something dude you know what i mean?

wait no fuck that! yeah there might be more than 9 but even if you use killing games thats still something that has to draw in lots of people from all those lots of universes so its bullshit that there are too many universes to train an army of living people in time look i know you've been thinking about this for years and shit and havent exactly stuck your head up your own ass but i have to try dammit! apparently even the possessed cat thinks we are smart and can come up with something

A. Noise
B. Not-murdergamed dead people
C. People who can function on SG

if someone becomes a Composer then we only need 1 from category C
cuz the rest can be category B!!
and once u have enough of them in a group
u can start to control noise to do what you want when you want
(including: go into a pin and do not attack peeps)
that's been more effective than trying to constantly erase them
they can generate and multiply from negative emotions

I have no idea how many espers from each world you'd need to really do that
