And The Clocks Ticks Again
[You feel as if your body has not moved for a long time. The ache is dull as you can feel your limbs creak and move, trying to shake off any potential rust that has seeped into your bones. And maybe actual rust if you're Proto, sorry buddy. With eyes blinking out any tiny crusties from your corners, you may remember that you were trying to escape.
Escape? But where to in this hellhole? There's no exits from this abyss...right?
You remember screaming from someone...one of the strangers who showed up in the car, yes? She was speaking to her friend about something-]
Did you hear me, Seven?! I said-what in the bloody hells happened here?! AND WHO STOLE MY TIME FREEZING POWER AND USED IT ON US?!
[Yotsuyu is livid, screeching to anyone who hears. Anyone might be confused as to what she means by 'time freezing power' but looking up at the sky, there is a reason for her to be concerned: There are blue streaks and the bright light of Logos, but they are starting to die like embers, absorbed into the black.
There had been a war; the Amaranthine Conjunction doesn't let go of its possessions easily, even beyond its borders. But this is too far for it; this is not its territory and it never will be. Its Law has faltered. It's light is useless. The power is retreating, forced back from the black thing that pervades the sky. Just what happened to make this happen? Who is powerful enough to freeze everyone including two strong Angels?
It matters not because the clock is still ticking against you all...and the storm is not letting up.]

Have you ever heard turned on a radio, only to find the volume has been turned up to maximum? That is the sound that is heard as the eyes turn into a tsunami of monsters. Countless beasts of different sizes and shapes, all of them stenciled. All of them heading towards the Strangers, even as they seem to avoid Seven and Yotsuyu.
Probably the worst thing about Akko and Zack-and everyone else-seeing this?
There is no chance of escape]
Come, come, strangers of the multiverses! Come to where the center of the end!
[Somehow they can hear Medusa's voice even over the ungodly din of this inevitable, overwhelming moment.]
I insist.

He's probably gonna die. They all are probably gonna die. That fear is in the back of his mind, quieted by adrenaline and rage. If they're all going down, then he refuses to go down quietly.
He screams at the uncaring vortex with all his fury.]
BASTARDS! WHEN WE FIND YOUR GOD DAMN WEAK SPOT, YOU'RE BOTH FUCKING DEAD! YOU HEAR ME, ASSHOLES? YOU'RE BOTH! FUCKING! DEAD!

You'll regret messing with us!

But it is not the end. It will not unmake everyone. Not entirely. Not yet.
A faint light starts to coalesce beneath everyone, beneath the static.]

Come on...
no subject
It looks like a building.
Or, at least, what remains of one.]

[That... Sure is a number on there. Not entirely sure what it means at all. But it looks like something, so he's following his sister's lead.]
no subject
It is not an entire building. It is a ruin.
And next to it—is that smoke? It seems to be shrouding a train car. And-]
no subject
Oh, COME ON!
[Interpet that outburst as you will. At any rate, if he's gonna get dumped here, he's gonna go with it before the static bullshit nightmare tries eating everyone again.]

This, in fact...
...is another graveyard. The little girl's laughter echoes, ever so slightly, in the wind that circles in the center, like an eye that is blacker than black.
There is no sign of Seven or Yotsuyu. You are on your own.
And it appears you have come to the end of your long, terrible journey.
Welcome to the Eye of the Storm, Strangers.]

...Though if he does lean against Atsushi just the slightest bit for support, well, everyone else is probably too preoccupied to notice.]
You told me once that... you needed to get back to your people, didn't you? Can't give up... just yet...
[The fact that Proto is looking to a source of light for hope doesn't count as irony, strictly speaking. But he can work out the specific terminology later.
There will be a later.]
no subject
Yeah. I want to see my family again, so I can't just lie down and die here.
[ Atsushi looks over to Proto at this, a small smile on his face even in the face of such blinding adversity. The old him from back home had still been finding the strength to stand up and he's been learning to do so here with a body that was much more fragile than what he was used to. ]
Neither of us can give up here. We have to keep going.
no subject
Come on. The only way out is forward.
[A building and a train car? Well, at least one of those looks familiar, even if it isn't the exact same as the trains he rode...]
no subject
We're not getting anywhere just standing here.
[ Carefully, he goes to start forwards but wanting to make sure Proto is with him. Sure they were 'dead' but he was still standing here in some form and it didn't feel like a dream so a part of him hoped maybe there was a way to go back. ]
I'd question where some of these things come from but I don't think there's an answer for that..

THIS was not what she'd wanted to see. Her head was spinning from the awful sounds, reeling as she looked around at all the different monsters heading towards them. There was no way they could fight them all, with the numbers stacked against their very few numbers. If she said she wasn't scared, that would be a damn lie. ]
This is it. W-We can either go out scared or... go out fighting.
[ Her voice trembles and it's clear she sounds almost on the verge of tears now. At least before a flash of light flickers and Zack would find he's not holding onto her weapon form anymore. Akko's re-materialized in her normal, human self and even if she looks scared, there's also something strangely determined on her face. ]
I choose to fight. Even if it's... not fair and kinda futile. You hear me!?
[ She glares skyward, and all around them before yelling the rest of her words out as loudly as she could. ]
YOU THINK I'M GONNA RUN? THINK AGAIN!
[ If noone really stops her she is going to suddenly start bolting forwards, fists raised as if she really will have any effect towards the oncoming beasts. ]

I... We can't just... sit here and be killed without fighting back... we can't...
[ Akko's voice trembled a little, and she was trying so hard not to cry... and probably failing. ]

But not yet. The little girl has its ways.
And so the faint light appears, flickering like a wayfinder.]

[ She won't try to break free from Jun's hold, but she's seen it with her eyes going wide. ]
Jun... Fransiscus... We need to get to it. Wouldn't it be better than this...?
