Welcome to Dead
[You Are Dead.
Your last thoughts before the finishing blow may differ as well as if you had felt any pain or not. Let's be real, folks have been extra in the mansion so it's more than likely some crazy way to go. What can you do about that? But if you were thinking that death involves going to a place filled with fire and brimstone or a place filled with fluffy clouds and golden gates...sorry to disappoint.
When you wake up, the first thing you will notice is how cold you feel. Whatever you were wearing before, it will not protect you against the snow and wind. Nothing was taken from you but you cannot help but feel for some reason, it feels like your privacy was violated. But that's small potatoes compared to where you happen to wake up: a hole in the ground. Just a typical average sized human sized hole, no big deal.
Once you get out from your 'comfy' hole, you will see markers by each hole...best not to think about those and focus on finding shelter for now. You might want to be aware of that massive tornado that can be seen from your wake up points. Try NOT to leave by swimming into the water behind said points.
Better hurry.]

[Yikes, that crazy huh?]
I'm sorry that I scared you and your friends. That is not like me to do that...but when someone is affected with Madness, how they normally act goes out the window.
no subject
[ A pause. Wait. 'How they normally act goes out the window'? She thought back to the way she's been feeling a bit more aggressive than normal and how she'd tackled the other girl down the first time she'd been on the plane. ]
Madness? That doesn't come with hallucinations or anything, does it?
no subject
Yes, hallucinations are part of the Madness as well as changes in behavior. But everyone knows that it does.
no subject
I didn't. Neither did me or my friends, but... that's because we came from a different world altogether and then things started getting really weird...
[ She shook her head. ]
I started to see people who aren't here, and i've been quicker to anger than I normally do. That has to be the Madness you spoke of... which means you're someone who comes from this world originally! I.. don't suppose I could ask you a couple things, could i?
[ Akko at least had started walking again. They'll reach the plane in no time. ]
no subject
Another world...
[The thought is only there for a moment but she quickly answers.]
Of course! If there is anything I can do to help you, I will do my best.
no subject
Great! Thank you, Maka!
[ Something's been bugging her ever since that talk she'd had with Eddie when she'd first gotten here. ]
Okay.... so I was told that in this world, there's this school that this God named Shinigami runs and there's kids there who are being trained to hunt down and kill witches. You're from this school, right?
[ Because simply just trusting Eddie wasn't enough. She wanted to hear it from Maka herself. ]
no subject
Yes, I am from that school. It's called DWMA or Death Weapon Meister Academy and it isn't just a place to 'train to kill witches'. We are supposed to protect the innocent from those trying to hurt them.
no subject
On the one side she did get confirmation that Maka went to this school that seemed to be an enemy to witches, but they were also those who wanted to protect the innocent, too? ]
That's WAY better than what I thought it was all about! So that school is definitely a good one by the sounds of it.
[ Which is great news to her, honestly. ]
I understand the concept of weapons since I apparently AM one, but what exactly is a Meister?
no subject
Oh, well, a meister is someone who can fight while using a weapon form of...well, a Weapon. A weapon and meister do need a compatible wavelength in order to be a good team and work together.
no subject
[ She's really trying to understand this, honestly she is. ]
no subject
Getting along helps, but it's also how compatible their personalities are otherwise it won't-
[And then her face pales because she just realized a thing and uh oh.]
Sorry if this is a bit strange to ask but did you see anyone else besides me or your friends here?
no subject
Nope! It's just been me and my friends here. [ Eddie is excluded because no he's not her friend. ]
Is there supposed to be other people here?
no subject
If I am here...then he has to be too. But if no one saw him...
no subject
[ Oh look the plane is actually in sight now. ]
no subject
My partner. He was with me before...
[Oh yes, that certainly is a plane. Filled with friendly people possibly!]
no subject
[ All just guesses, but even for as enthusiastic as she is? There is concern on her face as she said it. ]
Hopefully he's still somewhere around here.
no subject
...yes. To both of your questions.
no subject
[ What? It totally is in her eyes!
Though after a second she seems to deflate a little, wringing her hands slightly as they walk. She needs to get this out there or she's never gonna be able to live with herself. ]
So... where I come from, Maka. I'm a witch. You're... not gonna kill me, right?
no subject
Are there good witches in your world? Most of the witches that we know of in this one are evil and cause harm. Have you done anything like that?
no subject
[ Akko then turned slightly so she could look back at Maka a bit better, something almost sad in her eyes that she covered up with a smile. ]
Not intentionally! Anytime someone got hurt it wasn't deliberate. Especially when I was first learning how to do magic, I made a lot of mistakes but I just want to make others happy with it.
no subject
Your world must be lucky that have people who are kind.
[But then she listens and despite what she knew, had been raised on, had seen...Akko had helped her. That counts for something and she gives a small smile.]
You helped me when you could have let me stay Mad or even killed me...double kill since we are dead. Therefore, that must make you a good person.
no subject
[ Any worries and fears she has are instantly assuaged hearing that, to which she just grins brightly and laughs softly. ]
I'm glad you think so! [ A soft laugh follows that too. ] It wasn't like I was going to kill you or leave you be. Something told me you weren't always like that... but I admit I was worried when this one guy said you were from that school and implied that you'd kill me just for being a witch s-so I just kinda had to get that out of the way.
[ Then something else occurs to her, them being only a scant twenty or thirty feet from the plane's location by now. ]
At least here's a little better than the creepy mansion with all the spiders in it. I don't know if that's common in the world of the living here but it was really weird, because it had waaay more spiders than most places should have.
no subject
Mansion? Spiders?
[Think think think.]
Tell me everything you know about that place.
no subject
It was really old. Didn't even have proper plumbing at all, and what they called a game room had all kind of creepy torture items in it. Seemed really fancy... or it would be if it wasn't for all the cobwebs and the bats that were also there too.
[ She's doing her best to recall everything she can. ]
Had a fancy dining room but we were only allowed to eat once a week, and the two guys in charge were in hoods and never showed their faces. They spoke of 'Our Lady' quite highly, as she was the one they served but we never actually saw her.
no subject
I think this needs to be discussed with everyone.
