Your last thoughts before the finishing blow may differ as well as if you had felt any pain or not. Let's be real, folks have been extra in the mansion so it's more than likely some crazy way to go. What can you do about that? But if you were thinking that death involves going to a place filled with fire and brimstone or a place filled with fluffy clouds and golden gates...sorry to disappoint.

When you wake up, the first thing you will notice is how cold you feel. Whatever you were wearing before, it will not protect you against the snow and wind. Nothing was taken from you but you cannot help but feel for some reason, it feels like your privacy was violated. But that's small potatoes compared to where you happen to wake up: a hole in the ground. Just a typical average sized human sized hole, no big deal.

Once you get out from your 'comfy' hole, you will see markers by each hole...best not to think about those and focus on finding shelter for now. You might want to be aware of that massive tornado that can be seen from your wake up points. Try NOT to leave by swimming into the water behind said points.

Well... first he said something about being a weapon and he had these creepy shark teeth and his arm was turning into one which I guess makes sense but he'd also asked me what kinds of things I learned in weapon school.

[ She frowned a little and looked at her hand briefly. ]

He also mentioned a God possibly named Shinigami who rules this world and there's this school where kids are trained to hunt down and kill witches. Crazy, right?

[Ah, right, she wasn't there when they met Excalibur, was she?] Hm...did he mention anyone named Excalibur? A strange creature by that name appeared to us during the beginning of the week, and he informed us that we were apparently all weapons now. Though he didn't mention that last part. And when we tried to transform, it was always a complete instead of a partial transformation...

[He looks a bit more serious now.] He hasn't been bothering you two, has he?

Nope! That's the first time i'm hearing it, actually.

[ Glancing back up to him, her eyes widened slightly as it sunk in. ]

Whoah... I mean i'm sure there's a way to do it but turning into the weapon form at all has to be a good thing, right?

[ There's a definite pause before she laughed almost sheepishly. ] He did at the start after this crazy girl showed up and was acting really creepy, but she was more of an issue than he was. Even if he seemed like he was threatening me at first.

Indeed. I do wish I'd had more time to experiment, as well. [Though he looks a bit troubled when she mentions the girl.]

There's another person here...? Do you have any idea of her whereabouts now? Though I certainly hope he wasn't threatening you. [If Eddie messes with Akko Franciscus will happily set him on fire.]

You can probably do that here if you wanted more practice. I mean, our powers all still work so the weapon thing still applies to us, I think.

[ Akko blinked a little before shaking her head, raising a hand up to tuck some flyaway strands of her hair behind her ear as they walked. Definitely keeping as much space between them and the giant tornado as possible. ]

I don't know where she is now, but she really creeped me out because it seemed like hurting her didn't really do anything and she kept giggling, too. Something was up with her but I don't know what. [ A shiver runs down her spine that has nothing to do with the cold. ] Eddie told us that the girl actually comes from that school where they're trained to hunt and kill witches.

[ It's still hard to wrap her mind around the fact that there's a school where they do that. ]

He kinda was in a more subtle way. After we took care of the girl, that's when he showed us that partial transformation with his arm and his teeth. Implied that I was someone that liked pain, too. Kinda backed off after that, though.

[He nods as they trudge along.] Perhaps...their meaning of "witch" is something different. This is probably another situation involving different worlds, right? [Who would want to hunt someone as sweet as Akko?]

...if he backed off, that's good. Did he mention where he got all his information? [Because Franciscus would rather not have to confront Ed himself.]

That's what I was thinking it might be, too. Especially considering when I told him I went to witch school, he acted so surprised that I said it so easily.

[ The idea of witches here were not the good sort from what she could tell, but it wasn't anything she wanted to think about. ]

Not yet. I haven't exactly wanted to ask him that yet, but he seems like he's been here a long time in this world.

That definitely seems like a case of cultural differences, then. Though it sounds like he hasn't explained what his definition of "witch" is.

[He makes a "hmmm" at that second part.] If that's so, do you think the stewards might have held a grudge against him in particular? That explains why no one saw him, and why they might have wanted to target him...

Yeah. Other than that they seem generally bad, since he said one of them was his business partner and provided him with a bunch of snakes or something.

[ Instantly something clicks and she straightens up, eyes wide. ]

They must have been aware that he knew too much and if he spoke to us, he'd tell us everything before they wanted us to be aware of that information!

He does seem to have a fascination with them, doesn't he? [Not that Bird Lover here really has any right to mention that...still.]

That's very likely. They don't know about Excalibur showing up to us, either, and I hope no one's revealed him. He's probably their best chance at getting more information right now.

Just a little bit, yeah.

[ They were almost past the tornado now so they were nearly at their destination, thankfully. ]

Excalibur? Who's that?

This...small, white, pointy-nosed creature in a top hat. He's...rather boisterous, all things told, but at least he seems to understand the need to stay hidden.

Sounds like a strange guy... or thing. As long as he's helping you guys it should be okay.

[ Ah there it was. They were just past the tornado now, to which she points towards the plane a ways from them, barely visible from where they were. ]

There's where we're staying and it works to keep us out of the cold for the time being.

He does seem somewhat capricious-he walked off in the middle of a conversation, after all. Hopefully he'll show up again sometimes.

[He nods, looking over the plane.] It looks solid enough. Does it have supplies of any sort onboard?

Wow. I'm sure he will, even for how odd he is.

[ She is still ridiculously positive even now, but it does waver ever-so-slightly when he asks that. ]

Mm-hm! Lots of the different luggages still on-board have a lot of spare clothes, there's blankets, and stuff to take care of ourselves for the most part.

[He's about to nod, then stops halfway.] If there's luggage on board...what happened to the other passengers? Or is this simply a copy of something from the real world...perhaps it has to do with this Eddie Kim character. [His profile did specifically mention planes, after all.]

That's what I was wondering, too. I thought it was a real thing too, but it seems more like a copy instead of something real.

[ She nods, expression shifting into something more thoughtful. ]

I'd definitely bet that it has something to do with him but I'm not really wanting to ask him too much right now.

[A murmur of agreement, as Franciscus steps in to look over the plane more closely. And then he blinks when he notices something attached to each seat.]

Are those actual tasers?

[ Oh hey. She hadn't quite realized that they had those here until he mentioned it. ]

Huh? Yeah... I think so! Don't know if they have any power to them, though.

[ That'd be nice if they did. ]

If they did, they'd probably be useful for defense. [Which probably means they either don't have any power, or are limited in how much power they have.] Though now I wonder if this is unique to this particular flight, or just a regular feature in the world it came from.

That's true! It's definitely better than nothing, either way.

[ A nod of her head is followed with something almost thoughtful on her face now. ]

I don't think planes normally have tasers so i'd guess it was something unique for this plane which makes me wonder if there was another use to this plane at another time before it crashed here.

If there were fewer seats, I'd say it'd probably be for some kind of specialized defense group...but it does seem like a normal plane that simply expects all passengers to be armed in some fashion. I wonder if there was some recent threat that electricity was meant to be strong against.

Well... if I had to guess i'd say it was maybe for all the snakes?

[ She then pointed to the frozen, dead snakes littered all around this level of the plane. ]

These are the snakes that Eddie's witch contact gave him, and what's weirder is he said this was his plane, too.

Hm. [Franciscus admittedly doesn't know how effective tasers are against snakes.] If they were both his, though, why would he provide a defense against them? [Franciscus picks up one to look at it before dropping it back down.] Though I suppose if he could control the power supply somehow, that would give him an avenue of negotiations...

Not sure, but that's the only guess I have to why they're here. He might have had a lot of control over the plane when it was working, but we'll never know until we ask him.

[ Akko makes a face before shaking her head. ]

Though... he's weirder than I thought. I mean... what kind of person sticks snakes on a plane?!
