[Ever since the Madness left her, Maka has been worried. She expressed her concerns with the Strangers over her partner not being anywhere in sight but she has mostly kept it to herself. Ever since they were looking for feathers, she was trying to find a way to reach out to Soul.

He's dead too after all, she watched him die before her own grizzly death. But she refuses to give up.

Every waking moment, she is out of the plane and is in random places on the island but she doesn't dig in the snow or try to turn over rocks or broken relays. Instead, she simply...stands up and closes her eyes, as if she is trying to focus.]



You should be here...but where are you? Why can't I sense you?

Maybe the tornado? If we don't have rope somewhere I'm sure Thanatos could figure something out and rig it up so we don't lose hold of you.

Yeah, I can tie plenty of things together to make a rope. Definitely is always a good thing to ensure there's a way to mark the path you took when going into uncharted territory.

It does tend to be a good idea to scout in at least a pair when going into a place that is unknown. If I go, Jun probably wouldn't be able to pull us out if something happened, but at the same time it may be better to have someone familiar with exploring uncharted territory with you.

[And he doesn't want to say that if something happens, he'd at least be able to carry her out or if they do find Soul and he's in bad shape they'll need someone strong to carry him to safety.]
